Description

This is the super rare Dansette Stereophonic from about 1963. It has been completely refurbished inside and out with new rexine covering in black and white with matching extension speaker. The brass fittings have either been cleaned or replaced with exact replicas of the originals. The deck is a BSR UA15, which has been cleaned and lubricated and fitted with a new stereo flip-over cartridge (BSR SX6H, stereo safe and also plays mono) and plays at all 4 speeds (16, 33, 45, 78rpm). Inside the box, the amplifier has been fitted with new capacitors and a new mains cable with a 3amp fuse. The brand new black and brass tipped 18″ legs with new leg plates are included. Stereo was a new thing in the early sixties and not many records were released in stereo (definately not 45s), plus, these players were very expensive and not many were sold. So, now they are very rare with the matching speaker.

A rare opportunity to own one of these gorgeous players.
