This is the super rare Dansette Stereophonic from about 1963. This has been completely refurbished inside and out with the original rexine covering in black and white with matching extension speaker. The lid has mellowed to a slight cream colour and there are some slight marks but in pretty clean condion given its age. All the brass is original except for the handle clasps which have been replaced. The leg plates are original as well. Stereo was a new thing in the early sixties and not many records were released in stereo (definately not 45s), plus, these players were very expensive and not many were sold, so they are very rare now with the matching speaker. The deck is a BSR UA16 which has been cleaned and lubricated and fitted with a new stereo flip-over cartridge and plays perfectly at all 4 speeds. Inside the box, the amplifier has been fitted with new capacitors and a new mains cable. The new 18″ black and brass tipped legs are included.
A rare opportunity to own one of these gorgeous players.
