Description

A superb example of a Dansette Bermuda from about 1962/63. With original pink and white covering which has been revived and cleaned it looks very smart. Cleaned inside and out with a new 3 core cable fitted with a 3amp fuse. The brass catches and hinges are all original, except for the handle clasps, but cleaned and polished to look like new again. It also has the original swing tag on the handle (not a reproduction).
The legs and leg plates are brand new replacements which are included.

The BSR UA15 is the rare brown and beige version of the turntable which has been cleaned and re-greased and works at all speeds with the auto-change. It’s fitted with a new high output turnover SX6H crystal cartridge which gives good volume and is wired for stereo to mono, so it’s safe to play stereo records without any damage as well as 45s and 78s. The outputs at the rear have been kept, so it’s possible to connect the outputs to a larger speaker or amplfier. A couple of small marks here and there, but as it’s the original covering, you would expect a few for a player that’s nearly 60 years old. On the inside, the casing has been signed by ‘Daphne’, I wonder what happened to her!

Strictly for collection only.
