Description
This is a superb Dansette RG65 from 1966 with refreshed black covering and brand new white covering on the lid. Fully cleaned inside and out. Fitted with a new cable and 3amp fuse.
The amplifier has been checked and some components have been replaced. The chrome catches and hinges are all original and have been cleaned and polished.
This has a built in Medium wave/Long wave transistor radio which is fully working. This was made the year before BBC Radios 1,2,3 and 4 were launched, so it has the old Light, Home and Third programmes shown on the tuning dial. There is also an extra waveband option to fine tune Radio Luxembourg!
There are leg plates with plastic furniture protectors fitted. LEGS ARE NOT INCLUDED in the price! These are brand new and can be included for an extra £40.
The BSR UA21 turntable has been cleaned and re-greased and works at all speeds with the auto-change so you can stack up to six 45s. It’s fitted with a new high output turnover X3H crystal cartridge with an ST8 stylus, which gives excellent volume and is wired for stereo to mono, so it’s safe to play stereo records without any damage, as well as 45s and even 78s. This has a much bigger speaker than most Dansettes, so it produces plenty of bass.
The outputs at the back are still connected and could be used for output or recording.
