Description

A superb example of a Dansette Bermuda from about 1961. Recovered with new red and cream rexine, it looks very smart. Cleaned inside and out, and fitted with a new 3 core cable and a 3amp fuse. The amplifer has been checked and some of the capacitors have been replaced. All the brass catches and hinges have been replaced with exact new reproductions.

The leg plates and legs are new and are included in the price. The BSR UA14 turntable has been cleaned and re-greased and works at all speeds with the auto-change. There are some scratches near the on/off/rej control, but otherwise it’s in very good condition. It's fitted with a new high

output turnover SX6H crystal cartridge which gives good volume and is wired for stereo to mono, so it's safe to play stereo records without any damage as well as 45s and 78s. The outputs at the rear have been kept, but do not work due the new stereo to mono wiring.
