Description
The rare Cathy McGowan Dansette Transit, fully working with the Cathy McGowan luggage tag! This was launched in August 1966 and endorsed by Cathy McGowan of the famous ‘Ready, Steady, Go’ TV show. This is the mains-only version in nice clean condition. It has a few small dents in the chrome speaker cover and a few scuff marks on the bottom, but overall really nice. It’s fitted with a BSR X5M cartridge which gives a good volume considering the size of the unit. The luggage tag has a reproduction of the original insert. The mini auto-change turntable has been cleaned and regreased as much as possible and works at all speeds.
Highly collectable and quite rare. Collection only please.
