Description
This is the super rare Dansette Stereophonic A35 from c1959. This has been completely refurbished inside and out with new rexine covering in red and cream with matching extension speaker. When plugged in, the extension speaker has its own volume (balance) and tone controls on the main from panel (there are two separate amplifiers inside!). A crazy idea, but stereo was a new thing in 1959 and not many records were released in stereo (definately not 45s), plus, these players were very expensive and not many were sold, so they are very rare now with the matching speaker. The deck is the BSR UA12 which has been cleaned and lubricated and fitted with a new stereo flip-over cartridge and a new platter mat and plays perfectly at all 4 speeds. Inside the box, the amplifiers have been fitted with 12 new capacitors and a new mains cable. The new 18″ black and brass tipped legs are included.
A rare opportunity to own one of these gorgeous players.
I’d prefer collection, but it could be packed up and delivery arranged at your own expense.
